Hi there, I’m Allira Henderson,

I live on the picturesque coastline of Southern Western Australia in a stunning little seaside town called Esperance.

I have studied and practiced art now for twenty years, exploring a range of topics and media but I am always drawn back to the sea, it’s inspiration knows no bounds. I grew up in Esperance, scrambling along its huge headlands and losing myself in the romance of the sea grass beds that thrive under the waves here. Esperance is isolated, rugged and naturally stunning, things that first drew my fisherman husband Christian to the town twenty years ago. Christian has always worked on the ocean and our children are lucky enough to grow up on the same beautiful, white beaches as myself, a perfect childhood.

I love nothing more then bringing the beautiful natural surrounds of my home town to life on canvas so you can enjoy a little piece of our paradise in your home too.

“There’s something special about creating artworks inspired by the coastline I walk. It allows me to connect to my audience through another time and place, the seabreeze swirling through salty hair, the fresh smell of the ocean all about and gentle waves crashing on pure white sand.”

“ Each piece is a unique rendition of the stunning natural wonders that I am lucky enough to experience every day.”
